Dream.8 Picks

Filed under: Uncategorized — kneebar @ 2:18 pm

More of my genius fortune making picks here:

Shinya Aoki over Mach Sakurai – I enjoy both of these guys, but the difference maker here is going to be Aoki can’t lose.  Dream needs Aoki to be successful right now.  Mach is obviously superior at striking, but Aoki’s ground game wins again.

Jason High over Yuya Shirai – High by some kind of TKO/KO finish.

Andre Galvao over John Alessio – It’s really hard for me to justify this pick as Alessio should have a huge advantage in the standup over the MMA Greenthumb Galvao.  I’m taking Galvao for is athleticism and his BJJ, because this will hit the floor.   I couldn’t stand to see another top tier BJJ guy get knocked like Marcelo Garcia did.

Hideo Tokoro over Daiki Hata – Experience should prevail here.

Marius Zaromskis over Seichi Ikemoto – Too much power.

Sergey Kharitonov over Jeff Monson – I think Sergey’s standup will prove to be a good foil against Monson, and he should have enough ground defenese to avoid the sub.

Ninja over umm…the last minute replacement

Minowaman over Shibata – Because everyone loves Minowaman

Shaolin over Nagata – I’m psyched to see Shaolin return.

Shungo Oyama over Andrews Nakahara – I’ve never picked Oyama before, so I’m picking him now.

This card should provide some fun moments.
